What is Dine Well In The Desert?

For one week at the beginning of March, DINE WELL IN THE DESERT provides those of us who enjoy the pleasures of dining out with the opportunity to help feed those in our community that are less fortunate.  When dining out at any of DINE WELL IN THE DESERT’S Participating Restaurants between Thursday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 7, 2012, a percentage of your bill will go to Well in the Desert to support the services they offer to the people of the western Coachella Valley.  See our list of Participating Restaurants at right.

Many of our neighbors in the Coachella Valley face unfortunate circumstances everyday.  Some have to choose between paying the rent and feeding their children.  Others went without a hot meal to enjoy for the holidays, much less anyone to share it with.  What if your life situation was less prosperous than what it is today?  Whether it’s as a result of bad life choices, unforeseen medical emergencies, or a worsening economy, everyone deserves the dignity of a meal.
